Owl Farm PC Meetup

Owl Farm is a 34 acre Permaculture Idea Site and Wildlife Refuge which includes four homes.  I moved here in 2003 and have practiced permaculture and landscape artistry for 20 years.   

Aside from individual gardens, we have a food forest, three patches of coppiced basket willow, a pond, 19 acres of interesting forest and lots of sensors to monitor wildlife and birds.  Less than 3 acres are under human cultivation, the rest is managed for wildlife by controlling weeds, a no dog policy, and increasing native diversity.   

In zones 1 and 2, currently we are replacing plants that are not attractive to pollinators with natives.  The Meet-up activities are a tour, apple pressing, discussion and potluck!
