SUMMARY:Happy Valley Permaculture Walk
DESCRIPTION:Permaculture in the Neighborhood! We can also witness the transformation of these public lands towards a Sequoia giganteum climax forest. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will then visit the Oasis Food Forest Garden. This small urban yard of a collective living home has been tended by a variety of community permaculturalists and gardeners over 20 years. Come see a productive urban food forest and enjoy a locally harvested snack. \n\n\n\n\n\nAfter that we will return to campus and visit the 50+ year old Outback forest garden\, a maturing and evolving food forest. \n\n\n\nThe whole journey will be about a half mile leisurely walk. Meet other interested earth stewards and share ideas about making urban spaces more fertile and diverse. \n\n\n\nOrganized by\, Terri Wilde \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShare It!\n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on Bluesky (Opens in new window)\n Bluesky\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Telegram (Opens in new window)\n Telegram\n \n Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)\n Email\n Like this:Like Loading…
