Composting & The Soil Food Web

Come learn about different compost practices & see what soil looks like up close.

We will start with a presentation, look at some soil under a microscope then move outside to see different compost systems.

Such as: Static/Thermophilic, Johnson-Su Bioreactor, Worm (Vermi), & others. Depending on weather & motivated levels. We can make a thermophilic pile.

If folks want to chat after class bring a lunch & the barn will be available.

PLEASE DO NOT PULL INTO 1834 DRIVEWAY. Look for ORANGE FLAGS & pull into to very next drive on the left. Head up the hill & I will be in a reflective vest. I can be reached at 360.595.3260
